Intake and Discovery
You will work with your divorce mediator and coach to share and clarify your interests, needs and goals during your
DONE IN A DAY DIVORCE mediation. Additionally, you and your spouse will complete preliminary dissolution paperwork with your mediation and coaching support team.
Mediation Sessions
During your DONE IN A DAY DIVORCE, your divorce mediator will assist in determining the best parenting goals and options for your children (if applicable), as well as helping you create a financial plan tailored to you and your spouse's needs. Throughout this journey your divorce coach will provide support in fostering constructive communication and managing emotions, while ensuring a respectful and amicable process throughout your divorce mediation session .
The Agreement
At the conclusion of your DONE IN A DAY DIVORCE, coupled with divorce coaching support, you and your spouse will sign and receive a divorce agreement, which includes all of your terms and provisions. This divorce agreement is your Memorandum of Understanding. If amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding are required, make sure they are properly documented by your divorce mediator and included in the final agreement. You and your spouse will be provided a copy at the conclusion of your mediation day.
Filing
If you decide to finalize your divorce utilizing DONE IN A DAY DIVORCE, with our divorce mediation services and coaching support, our paralegal who will complete and file all of the necessary documents. Your documents will include your final Memorandum of Understanding. This step initiates the six-month waiting period required by law.
